Interconnect Assurance Review

Scope:

Review the client’s approach to assuring it’s interconnect revenues and costs with regard to its local interconnect partners. This included reviewing inter-carrier contracts and interconnect billing, configuration of interconnect routes, interconnect reconciliation, product development and interconnect fraud control. 

Deliverable:

A comprehensive interconnect audit report detailing a number of quick wins and medium to longer term recommendations. This helped the client in developing its interconnect strategy and enhancing its interconnect profitability, by maximising interconnect revenues and minimising interconnect costs.

Client Benefits:

The report enabled the client’s management to have an overall view of the interconnect issues affecting the business and to use the recommendations to enhance the company’s end-to-end interconnect assurance capabilities.  Præsidium also raised the client’s awareness of the different types of interconnect bypass scenarios, as staff were not fully aware of the latest interconnect bypass techniques deployed.
