Fraud Managed Services Support

Scope:

To support the operator’s fraud management requirements through a period of rapid growth and transition to a fully functional, internally resourced Fraud Managemenet Department.

Deliverable:

Initially a risk assessment was undertaken to determine the overall fraud risks and to provide guidance on the optimisation of existing technologies to detect and prevent losses across the business. The project incorporated undertaking a root cause analysis of the fraud risks, the implementation of a range of fraud prevention and detection countermeasures, and the recruitment and training of a new fraud management team.

Client Benefits:

The operator made multi-million dollar savings during the one year support period provided by Præsidium. In addition, the client achieved a significant reduction in indirect costs associated with the handling of the excessive amount of fraud cases.
